Broken Slate has produced five short films in the last five years and while our first project, Uprooted was filmed in one day on a non-existent budget, we strive to challenge ourselves artistically and logistically with each new film we work on. Our most recent projects: What We Find in the Sea and My Only Friend is a Robot Named Beans were much more complex but we worked to stay true to the principles we founded this collective upon: scrappy creativity and good vibes.
